The XNode Product Line RoundUP Productions' XNodes are unique image processor and network data collection devices that are highly energy and bandwidth efficient. XNodes are Linux-based computers that run RoundUP Productions' proprietary machine vision software and come in a variety of processor speeds (from 300 Mhz to 1.2 Ghz). They send updates and changes of tracked object(s) via tiny, lightweight packets to the XVision Server. The
XNode product line is so robust, reliable and
compact that it can operate effectively
in extreme
conditions, from Space Shuttle launch pads to the
middle of the Black Rock Desert.
For the most volatile environments, ruggedized units operate
in completely sealed, NEMA-rated enclosures. When maximum
energy efficiency is required, a compact-flash memory version XNode
runs the operating system software and image processing applications
with no moving parts. XNodes have ultra small footprints and come in two main sizes, 5x5x3.5 in and 3.5x3.5x6.6 in -depending on processor speed and frame grabber card size. XNodes can run independently or as part of the XVision System.
XNodes
are highly adaptable and flexible. Each XNode can track multiple
objects
within the same scene. XNodes can also
augment currently existing video networks via
rack-mounted versions located at video operation
centers. |
